Using "Line" Ap away from Thailand

Featured Replies

Can any members plse advise if possible to use "Line" to make international telephone call either ex Thailand or back into Thailand when I am travelling and can this be done at no charge, i.e. free ??? thanks for any feedback ??

Once installed on your phone you can continue to use it abroad, and make free calls to other Line users in Thailand, even with another sim card inserted.

You can make LINE to LINE calls and video calls anywhere in the world, if that is what you mean by international telephone call.

Theoretically if both parties have line and internet access then yes, same as skype, facebook messenger etc.

I talk to friends in Australia and US from Thailand. However Line may be blocked in countries like China etc. I have a friend who lives in UAE and he cannot use line as it is blocked by the local ISPs.

The Sim card in your phone has nothing to do with it (other than providing cellular internet access) as its IP traffic using the internet.
