richard10365 Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 I found a Honda City yesterday that I am considering buying. It's a 2006 model with 22,000 km on it. Does anyone know of any problems that these cars have been having here in Thailand?
pal78 Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 Only negative I've heard relates to the CVT. Although they are smooth and efficient, I've heard that Honda rumors that Honda are going to return to a more conventional automatic transmission for the next generation Jazz and City. Not sure if this is true or not, but there were suggestions that this was because of reliability issues. Honda automatic gearboxes seem to come under fire more than their fair share anyway, so conventional or CVT might make little difference. (If it's a manual then I'd say go for it, Honda make some of the sweetest shifting manual boxes there are.) In any case it is a nice little car, and very economical.
