By The Nation

BANGKOK: -- The body of an unidentified man was found floating in a canal in Bangkok’s Bang Khunthien district on Monday morning.

Pol Lt-Colonel Nopparat Muenwong, an inspector at Bang Khun Thine police station, said the body was spotted on Bang Khun Thien canal at the pier of Wat Nang Ratcha Worahan in Bang Khor sub-district of Jom Thong district at 8am.

The man wore a black t-shirt and black shorts. No identification documents were found.

His throat appeared to have a big cut and the right side of his head had a big wound.

The body was sent to Siriraj Hospital for an autopsy.

you cannot be wounded and dead.

Dead Man's Body, or Man's Body, or Possible Murder Victim's Body...

I had the same thought, but then I realized that the gist of the story is that they found a man's body and it had wounds on it.  As opposed to finding a body that had no indications of what may have caused the death.  Awkward wording aside, they did find the body of a man who was wounded.
