webfact
Smoked American BBQ Finds New Home In Charoen Krung By Cole Pennington BANGKOK — Pass through a French bistro, with its cheeses and breads displayed in glass cases, on the ground floor of the FooJohn building in Charoen Krung. Go upstairs, guided by the art-deco mirrored walls wrapping their way around the stairs. Walk up, past the second-floor prohibition-style cocktail bar – dimly lit and draped in velvet. The third floor is your destination. SpareParts is one of Bangkok’s newest barbecue joints, home to an entirely new style of meats in an area that’s poised to take off. The restaurant is run by Caitlin Lee Chullasapya, the woman behind Deli-Q Bangkok – a barbecue and sandwich food truck that went on hiatus about eight months ago – scheduled to reopen at the end of the year. George Bowman
Smoking ain't easy in Thailand. The rainy season is tough. And in my dry wood pile, there is a rather large snake living there. Hats off to the lady finding the right rub. Still working on mine.
mrwebb8825
Good luck to her but it isn't only the style of cooking but the quality of beef being cooked/smoked that makes it worth eating.
