Speed Cameras on the Bypass

Featured Replies

Hello,

Has anyone been 'done' by the speed cameras on the bypass between the Thep and Central Festival? Bit worried since I've only just noticed them and pretty sure I've been through them a few times going a bit faster than the posted limit. What's the process if you have been caught?

Thanks,

FC

Are you talking about the official limit or the sign posted limit?

Speed limit there is 90km/h.

Cameras start to take pics at 120km/h.

Not more to easy these days doing more then 120 with a lot traffic....except in night time.

There have been several newspaper articles about these cameras

The police send the photos taken by the cameras to the road Transport Authority who are supposed to process the fines but refuse to do it

As Schlog said the speed limit there is 90KPH not the 50 KPH posted on the road signs

In the last newspaper article i read i think they said they cameras are set at 100 KPH but i could be wrong

I always keep my speed under 100 KPH on that stretch of road
