How about those of us that have no interest in playing the dating game of "will she or will she not" and just want a guaranteed happy ending and don't want to be in any sort of relationship with them?

I knew a female that boasted how she could get free drinks all night at a bar from all the guys trying to get into her knickers, only to go home alone and laughing about the sad mutts she strung along.

I certainly have no wish to get into that game.

Hookers are bottom of the barrell. I actually enjoy the social aspect of it all. Meeting people and hearing their perspectives on life is interesting. Hookers generally have low intelligence and are not interesting people.

This "dating game" you imagine is taking one girl out wining and dining. I prefer nightclubs, bars, parties and other social settings where there are lots of opportunities.

Unlike yourself who quickly entered a marriage situation when arriving in thailand after your UK divorce and moving to a small village in the sticks i have had a much broader experience and came here much younger.

As such i often see farangs here either having an hooker for a girlfriend or even wife mostly from Issan. Maybe you have never come across this. But i have hundreds of times.

And because I can speak Thai I can tell by the way that they talk. They are pretty rough and are good at 'bar english' and not much else.

Of course i have seen it. Been coming to thailand since the 80's as a teenager, it is in all the tourist areas. i have been to every tourist area in thailand and spent time in more than 50 provinces. But the hookers i have spoken to the most have been the wives and girlfriends of farangs.

The Incel problem is becoming huge, and frankly, the men have no one to blame but themselves.

Males are becoming less well educated, not developing social skills, and not taking care of themselves. Far too many spend their days playing computer games and doing nothing to make themselves appealing to the opposite sex. To put it another way, they have no game.

Women have no interest in a guy whose line is "Whazzup.....wanna see my Minecraft score?"

Many western men claim western women are all out to rob them of their savings in a divorce, when the fact is many women are solid earners on their own. As more women have entered the workforce and received university degrees, they look for a partner who is equally successful. Sadly, the pool of high-earning, university-educated males---the type of man a successful woman would be attracted to---is shrinking.

The reason this is an issue is because an unsuccessful young male can be dangerous. Few are willing to accept personal responsibility for their failures, and are then prone to the siren song of those who give them an excuse and someone to blame. It is not the least bit surprising that a guy like trump captures the vast majority of the Incel vote. His base---the type who stormed the Capitol in Jan 2021---are largely unsuccessful, fat, poorly educated losers.

Study hard, work hard, keep oneself fit, and develop social skills, and a male can be successful with females in the West or in Thailand or anywhere in the world. Be lazy, flabby, unkempt, unsuccessful and misogynistic, and that guy will fail everywhere. Even Thai women, as the country has prospered, now want a guy who's a "catch", not a loser. Incels will fail in Thailand just as they fail at home.

I always thought girls were like pornstars.  I was genuinely disappointed when I first started dating.  I wanted to know how to fight, so started doing weights, stretching and punching a bag.  I wanted to get better at English and maths so I studied it everyday for a year.  Why don't women study porn?

Jordan Peterson, renowned psychologist, claims studies show women much pickier when choosing a man—only 20% make the grade.  Men, on the other hand, see 50% of eligible women as attractive.  Here in Thailand, that percentage could actually go higher for us guys, methinks.
