Before buying we moved 3 times over 10 years....Each time we received our money back after inspections.....The 3rd time we rightfully shouldn't have....Our lease was 3 years & we were there only 1.5 years (we bought our own place)....The owner returned about 75% of the deposit, which was 75% more than we were entitled to....

That could leave a mark .... Fortunately, CA roadways have almost zero motocy traffic.....Here, there could have been serious carnage.....

Bread machines can make cakes, puddings, sticky rice, jam/jellies, yogurt, or bake....The first machine had a rice wine recipe.... I have made cakes & it works....A drizzled pound cake does fine, but other cakes taste like cake but looks bread shaped..... I've tinkered with the idea of baking bread & cutting lengthwise to make bread based quick pizza.... It's easy to make & tuck a couple of loaves in the freezer for my "on demand" daughters..... Even without all the preservatives laced in commercial bread the homemade bread lasts up to a week bagged in the fridge..... For what they can do they are a fine kitchen addition.... In the future I'll always have one based on just taste & freshness alone.... We do have the mixers, air fryer, oven, food processor(s) - simple & complex, a blender that could grind down a Christmas ????....But why go through all that stuff when, in under 15 minutes I can have the bread of my choosing in process.... I personally don't want to spend hours in the kitchen doing what I can do in minutes.....I like & was raised on sourdough & I can come pretty close....

I routinely exchange smiles & it's very rare when one isn't returned.... About the only too busy, unrelaxed, non smiling people I see are farangs.....

1 hour & 20 minutes to trek before sunset in a treed jungle/forest.....Bad choice.... Hope he's ok...

It is a farang family & this is their trained family pet they have to part with....Nothing indicated anything different.... Given the tone of the listing & the accompanying pictures I would have no trouble accepting it, and the dog on face value.... It's a nice looking/presented pup & I thought briefly about checking further..... We just don't have the space to take in another....

Garlic oregano french bread is a fav + Mango Hawaiian bread seem to be the 2 front runners.....I thought the cinnamon raisin turned out ok, but response was lukewarm....Those are the 2 that seem pretty standard.....

The ads are popping up like crazy....It seems the timing is staggered to aid in the ad opening up... Pretty damn annoying....

If anyone is interested, around 3 weeks ago in a Chiang Mai FB group there was a family looking to re-home a 4 year old male Bangkaew.... They said people, kid, family, & cat friendly.....They were moving out of country.... It appeared to be a nice, healthy animal in the pics.... Unfortunately, I didn't save the info.....

We have a full sized oven along with the bread machine....Great to have both...I make 2 or 3 full tray pizzas at a time.....5 minutes of kneading in the bread machine makes things flow along nicely.... There's more than a few things a bread maker can be used for.... It's nice to have both on tap.... Making a family fav bread takes less than 10 minutes to compile the ingredients & turn the machine on....Then on to other things.....

I spent a frustrated year or longer trying to get consistent results/satisfaction with my first bread machine - a Russell Taylor..... I ordered this Biolo Mix machine from Shopee & was stunned by the immediate good results along with shorter bread making times.... Now my family & neighbors put in requests for bread..... The results are close to 100% success to the point where I know I somehow screwed it up if it didn't turn out..... I read all the reviews carefully of each machine I considered & this machine had much more positive feedback..... Along the way I learned to add ingredients differently than either machine's instructions..... I recommend this Biolo..... Shop prices as you'll find a wide variance for the same machine.....Lazada started carrying the machine shortly after I bought mine.....

The Ridgeback can snap into aggressive bite mode & can get more aggressive with age....My FIL has them and I trust them zero percent.... My youngest daughter has permanent facial scars from one of his ridgebacks - just rocked up and bit her straight on the face.... They apparently bond close during growth years....Anyone outside those formative years needs to beware..... She was about 4 then ... Fortunately most of the scars follow her lip lines..... Study up on this breed....As my FILs dogs aged they had to be quartered/penned off as they became very unpredictable.....

Our Bangkaew is observant & protective.....He absorbs all the normal neighborhood sounds and doesn't react.... If a strange vehicle or person goes by he's there in protective mode.... Other than that he's a teddy bear to be around....

This is my petometer... When he slows down, gets disinterested, or heads home I know I've walked enough....

I have somewhat the same scenario....Does anyone know how far ahead of expiration a TDL can be renewed? It would be expiring in the middle of our travel, making rentals, etc., difficult....

I live in a small MuBaan (120 houses), about 25k out from CM..... Every night I see Thais walking leashed & unleashed dogs....I leash walk my Bangkaew because he was a soi dog I befriended & rescued and he still has some of that call of the wild instinct.... He's the #2 trained/behaved dog out of the group.... There are also houses where the dogs never get out of their yards, while others open their gates for a short time to let the dogs wander, then come back to their own yard.... I imagine it gets more free ranged the further out in the countryside you go..... They're pretty free range with their kids too, the further out you go ....

There is an online pharmacy in Bangkok that can post it to you.... Found it - Medisafe Pharmacy in Bangkok.... I have used them before, but have forgotten the name.....I can get a better price locally - but - their prices are discounted.... Perhaps somebody can fill in the blank or add others....

Alaska has some pretty sophisticated top secret facilities.....Not sure how off the books they are, but if they catch you lurking around; you might not be seen again....

I have some friends there watching the fire falls right now, today/yesterday..... It's spectacular to watch as is the rest of the upper and lower valleys..... Bodie, above Yosemite is also worth a look..... For accessable natural beauty California is hard to beat no matter the terrain extreme/preference

It's all frayed edges, destabilizing the masses, reported over analytics, social media - that isn't, failed parenting that doesn't know any better, doctors over prescribing for anti anxiety & anything else, schools that don't teach, the lost art of in person social skills & a general helpless feeling, fueling a callous disregard for the fellow man & a government that has shunned any facade of serving anything or anyone but itself.....

I'm not sure of the fault line situation in Thailand, however, that could easily be what the aftermath would look like..... If you've experienced a 7.0 quake in person, it's something you don't want to see again.... From the brick and mortar construction, to the rebar & cement framed condos + cement power poles & high rise thinly rooted water towers....Let alone the minimal road construction & earth dams that have dried out do to droughts.... Not a pretty picture....

There were shops in Baan Tawai that did this pre Covid...You might want to check there ... There are also vendors on Facebook marketplace making custom wood signs...

That could be uncomfortable ????
