  1. Understand now you were asking the appointment type listed to apply for - so yes you are correct - marriage would be permitted family purpose. Sorry was thinking you were asking reason for TM7 form.
  2. I would make an attempt soon after getting new passport (before you lose Embassy letter) - normally no charge but will need copies of old passport/visa/extensions and data page of new passport and fill out a short form.
  3. Actually immigration will transfer information of entry visa and extension of stay on request of your government - you should obtain a paper requesting this when get new passport. As for appointment do not know for sure if your office will require or not but does not appear to be a listed requirement so would not expect so. You will need to take care of that before the new extension can be entered.
  4. I use "retirement" and when used marriage extension used "Thai wife". Have no idea what you are asking in final sentence.
  5. Somewhat over 1,000 by quick check - suspect OP more interested in forum readers recent experience (which probably is not available) so Agoda or other internet read may well be best bet.
  6. Last year when Covid cases spiked they had everyone wait until the last week to limit the number of customers during those peak Covid cases. This only works if most had been doing early previously so only effective for about a month.
  7. As mentioned many find that there is an issue in bladder from blood in urine. Red pee is a red flag for most of us - and gets our attention to follow up. The ultrasound would likely be such a follow up test.
  8. Actually I was posting a quite of a locked forum topic as have no knowledge of Chiang Mai doctors as living in Bangkok. But as said it seems the doctor listed in Chiang Mai has ceased normal patient care.
  9. Think pregnancy ultrasounds. A lot of information can be seen with very high accuracy.
  10. Having bladder removed took that also - so one less thing in the old age cycle to worry about. In any event suspect you have found early so likely even if cancer your prognosis should be good. My check was due to blood in urine (which seemed to only occur after evening walks, which can be nothing, so waited longer than I should have).
  11. E-file last two years with no issues (refund received Feb 2 this year) - tried Turbo two years ago and they claimed unable to e-file (after payment) but would not say why - changed to OLT same day and had no issues. No need to file a state tax (my state does no have in any case).
  12. This ends at the bladder so much smaller and only a few inches - no meet and greet. Now if you wish to add an endoscopy you will have full effect.
  13. Read up on cystoscopy. Sounds worse than it normally is but if they see anything needing biopsy they can cut a small sample during procedure. It is not a really high priced exam and will take about an hour or so including getting ready - you will likely be able to enjoy the video in real time.
  14. It's junk food - you pay for easy grab/eat. But might be an alternative to other pork or chicken at times, which if less than 99% fat do cost about the same. Not really trying to eat salmon but had not seen before.
  15. I filed with no issues using a "662" plus Bangkok number.
  16. I have used OLT.com the last two years and very happy with it. No charge except for state returns.
  17. No Bangkok Hospital in Bangkok - doctor moved to Bumrungrad Hospital a few months after my operation. Most likely it will be be nothing but even in the worst case it can most likely be treated so you want to get it checked ASAP. In my case got bad advise to wait for government hospital queue which cost me a few months and made it much more serious an issue as what had been biopsied as low grade cancer turned out to be high grade and was growing quickly. As said you likely have none of the issues I had but you do need to check it out to be sure. As for the list it is indeed slim but it is changed and kept up to date. I would advise posting in medical section for recommendations as Sheryl or others may have additional doctors they can recommend if you are unable to use listed doctor.
  18. This is likely because he can not obtain the sensor to replace; or he too now has covid (a lot of people have it currently - really). Expect you will find Daikin extra item will actually be a sensor - that should cover all bases.
  19. Anyone tried these? Just noticed for sale recently and have not tried but perhaps an alternative to Chicken hot dogs? https://www.fishfitofficial.com/
  20. Altered meters are not unknown, and yes much more likely to be used with a foreign traveler than a Thai - but they are not common at all (I would estimate victim 5 times since meters started about 25 years ago - less than 50 baht each time and with the extremely low fares just check it off as a tip. Much more likely difference due to traffic/route. My normal home/hospital is under 80 baht - often 100-120 - sometimes as much as 140 baht due to traffic conditions. As said there is a flag fall of 35 baht and then cost per distance and time of slow travel adds baht to fare.
  21. Suspect you did not check the medical section - below is a recommended Doctor in CM. As one who had serious cancer and bladder removed (5 years ago) believe next step will be the camera insert which is not that painful (mostly full bladder feeling as they fill with water) and may allow them to obtain a sample for biopsy. It is an outpatient procedure. In the bad luck event of cancer some can spread rather quickly so time is important. I used Dr. Charuspong Dissaraan who was working at Bangkok Hospital at the time and highly recommend him. The following urologists have been favorably recommended by TV members in the past: Bangkok Dr. Viroj Chodchoy at Bumrungrad - has treated a number of TV members for prostate cancer and other problemshttps://www.bumrungrad.com/doctors/Viroj-Chodchoy Dr. Charuspong Dissaraan at Bumrungrad. US trained. https://www.bumrungrad.com/en/doctors/Charuspong-Dissaranan *Dr. Umaporn Nuanthaisong (female) – Sukhumvit Hospital once a week and also at Bangkok Hospital and at Chula (try their after hours clinic, 13th floor) http://www.sukumvithospital.com/en_doctorprofile.php?id=188https://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=th&u=http: https://www.bangkokhospital.com/index.php/en/find-a-doctor/doctor-profile/?id=2682&doctor=Dr._UMAPHORN_NUANTHAISONG //www.chulalongkornhospital.go.th/&prev=search *Dr. Suntchai Wirotsaengthong – BNH hospital https://www.bnhhospital.com/en/find_doctor/detail/135 * These two have been particulalry recommended for management of chronic prostatitis Pattaya Dr. Pornchai Chayaboon Panyasuppakun, Bangkok Pattaya Hospital https://www.bangkokpattayahospital.com/en/doctor-profile?v_id=208&depid=28 Dr. Jimmy Kongcharoen Bangkok Pattaya Hospital https://www.bangkokpattayahospital.com/en/doctor-profile?v_id=205&depid=28 Chiang Mai Prof. Bunnakit Lojanaphiwat at CM Ran Hospital, also at Sripat (CMU Hospital) and he also has his own clinic tel 0818824085http://www.chiangmairam.com/searchdoctor1?major_id=&doctor=103
  22. Ophthalmologists are available at any hospital in Thailand and indeed they are who you want to visit for eye issues. Those selling glasses here often have no formal medical training. Optometrists have only recently started to become common here and most stores do not have them. An optician only fits glasses to your head.
  23. Although likely a bit higher price this item is easily available on both Lazada and Shopee and have been buying 275 count for about 8/900 baht (made in Canada but not the plus) from such sellers for years without issues. You may have to change seller as they run out of stock often so you have to find one that has stock when you want to order.
  24. Paperwork comes from Bangkok Bank Hqs but believe any branch can request - in my experience in Bangkok a week is about what it normally takes.
