Not assuming anything .. but the 'mature & responsible' theme of news blip, then if so, should be insured, and opt in, for return of remains. Just saying. Closure ? Really, and who the hell would they talk to, that saw him last ? I never bought insurance when I travel, though think my AE and or Visa had that built in. If I crapped out on holiday, they knew not to even claim my body, if they even knew I was dead. Give me to a Uni, to study my enormous brain 😎 I'm dead, what the hell do I care. Even the wife has instructions to bury my butt at the house & tell nobody. If die in public area, do whatever is cheapest. One of the silliest waste of money I can think of, is people and funerals. Right behind weddings. Spend money for a parade of people, to look at you, dead, of all times to 'visit', that probably haven't talked to you in years. Cremate, and if anyone wants closure, pop over to where ever the dust spreading is. Who wants to look at a dead body. Remember my smile, my laugh, the time I made you laugh & my zest for life. A buddy of mine was watching one of my YTs, and I was laughing. He commented and stated, 'he misses my laugh' ... that meant more to me than any viewing/funeral, or the thought of him having to look at me 'dead'....out of respect. No thanks, not how I want to be remembered.

Not on the list ... MG Super Chargers, and probably about 150 units now, and MG tries to have one, at least every 150 kms, which is actually fairly accurate, as have used or seen them, when looking for our next CS. Most at the dealers, and can reserve for free, 15 minutes before arrival. Restricted use to MG owners, or members of, which usually requires owning an MG at one time.

We predominately use these when O&A (out & about), EV Pluz & PEA ... EV Station Pluz, most at PTT Parks, so very convenient, nice toilets, usually a food court & vendors, along with 7-11 and sometimes a KFC. ... PEA, usually at Banchak petrol stations. Also clean toilets, though most stations aren't in the caliber of PTT Parks, but slowly changing with new additions. All have a coffee shop, which is OK. ... Elexa, have used, and quite nice, as it was connected with a very nice restaurant/coffee shop. Fast charge. ... EA Anywhere, lots of charging station, and you'll find at malls also. Have not used yet, only tested to make sure we know how. edit (thanks @Pib) ... we also have Altervim, which are located at Lotus's, (maybe elsewhere) so that's handle for killing time, toilet, use vendor, pick up some snacks (for hotel stay), or grab a munch. DO NOT register for eVolt, as very few are fast chargers, and when we did, only pay options was debit from their app, which we put 1000 baht on, and have yet to use any of it 🤬 Apps for those vendors are user friendly, and provide info, map, if available or not, and some, like EV Station Pluz, can reserve a time slot before arriving. We also have MG, but restricted to owners of, or having their access card. Use them ofter, when EV Pluz or PEA isn't available. All quite easy to use, just do a tester, with each, before going out on the road. Always know where your next CS is located, in case you pull in, and the CS you are at, is inop. Only happened once to us, in over 2 yrs, and next one was 12 kms up the road.

Ditto, walk around (MG ZS) and that was it. Took it for a long test drive, 240 ish kms, then returned to MG to top the battery back up, to make sure we know how. The test drive was eye opening, and annoying as hell, the first 30 minutes. All safety features on, stay in lane, along with learning curve about the regen, and auto braking when in cruise control, when someone cuts in front of you, a bit too close. Disabled the stay in lane, before half way down the road. Just annoying. In cruise control, you need to work the accelerator when getting near things, or the car will reduce the speed for you. Takes some getting use to. If in traffic, even on the highway, just don't bother using, unless texting, then the car (at least the ZS) will stop by itself if someone stops in front of you Actually I only use cruise control on open road, so not to exceed the speed limit, as easy to do, since a very smooth & comfy ride. 90 kph feel so slow sometimes if no traffic around you going slower. Within owning the first month, took a couple road trips, one short, and one a bit longer, requiring use of charging stations. https://aseannow.com/topic/1276247-ev-owners-…-real-life-experience-help-thread/page/4/#comment-17756935 Can't imagine the Atto 3 experience being much different that our MG ZS. You having the extended version will be a bit of a plus, though 3+ hrs or about 250 kms, on Thai roads is enough for us. You'll find by the time you're done P'ing, stretching the legs, and grabbing a munch, the car will be topped up, or close to 90-95% and you can be on your way again. 30-40 mins, replaces about ~30kWh (60%) of battery for our ZS, so 30kWh/60% back to 90% from 30% for us. https://aseannow.com/topic/1276247-ev-owners-…-real-life-experience-help-thread/

You might want to use some of that 'critical thinking' and re-read my posts Didn't read the whole thread myself, but I believe most of those critical thinkers, aren't fans of living in CA, for the reasons I stated. Except maybe the one I replied to, that thinks the state is paradise. Have a nice day

May want to pop over to Queen Sirikit Heart Centerm Khon Kaen, if haven't already, for a 2nd opinion. If quoted the same price, and too expensive, then I guess having the op is irrelevant. Chok Dee

I didn't cherry pick anything. Simply copy & pasted some info from AI. As it agrees with my thinking of why some may want to leave. Also didn't mention the population up or down, simply stated some who can afford to live there, left for greener pastures, and seem to be the well to do, looking for cheaper, less tax burden states. Easy to find. Amazing how so many read so much into my posts, that I don't even think about. With open borders, free sh!t for illegal immigrants, I don't think CA population will ever decrease. Add warm weather for the homeless, and it BLISS

Aseannow is all about trump and Europe, not much about Thailand
KhunLA replied to MalcolmB's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Doesn't offend me at all, as having very thick forum skin. Just an observation, and why I avoid most threads now. They're just an anti BEV, CN, RU, USA, TH, Thai, Solar fest, from a bunch of grumpy old men, that seem to only care about LBs, penis s, alcohol and P4P. Nothing wrong with that, I simply have different interests -

Let me correct that for you ... "it's an American forum" = "American bash fest" dominated by non Americans. I like that AN is all the MSM headliners in one place. Occasionally there's topic or last comment that warrants a comment, if really bored. But that's about it. 99+% is ignored by me. Get my news from RTnews, and only 98+% is ignored by me. But that 1% is enough to stay current in world events. Talking to the dog is more informative than all the news / op-eds provided by so called news agencies. If I want information that I need, there's YT & Gmaps for that. How do I stop my sauce from breaking ? What should I feed the chickens ? Should I take the C19 vaccine ? Where's the closest guesthouse that allows pets ? -
How many times a day do you pee and what it says about your health
KhunLA replied to Rimmer's topic in The Wellness Zone
It will certainly help, by limiting your total sugar, carb intake. Could even adjust you eating window. Since sipping a few, guessing you are not waking up with the sun at 6 AM. I'm not full on Keto, but did cut most sugar and starchy carbs out. Plus intermittent fasting help quite a bit also. That 15-18 fast overnight & early morning 2000 - 1200 noon, leaving an ~8 hr window for eating. 0600 black coffee 1200 first lite meal, eggs (protein & fat) 1500 largest meal (protein, fat, lite carb) 1700 lite meal (same as 1500) 2000 any snacking done before Rare to drink alcohol, maybe one 490ml a month, maybe. Doubt if I had 12 beers the past year though. Can't remember the last time I had more than 2 of those, the past 10 years. -
I was going to post something like ... 'y'all actually expecting to get sick'. What are you nuts, just keep you're immune system primed & ready by eating right, a little exercise & fresh air & sunshine. Then I saw this 'short' below ... WTF Had a thought ... could it just be the folks that got vax'd. Don't want to start another vax vs anti vax thread, but if people are having this issue, would be interesting to know, if vax'd or not. People living in Hua Hin, BKK or above, then it could just be irritation from the smog, unless more than just a rough, sore throat and a cough. Smog was even bad down here yesterday, 100 kms / 1 .5 hours south of Hua Hin. Keep them air purifiers going indoors. A few 100 comments w/vid, so I guess it's a thing ... https://www.facebook.com/reel/1122824156254283

How do you treat a dead relative overseas ? Is it necessary to fly over and be with them ? Not like you'll be spending a lot of time together. Simply let the embassy, that has experience doing, sort out what needs to be done, and ship them back. Simply a waste of time & money. coming here, especially if not having. But hey, just ask other people to pay for it, when it's pretty obvious, to me anyway, the family isn't skint. Can't be cheap, just to hop a plane, short notice, full fare, along with at least 1 week hotel stay, on one of most expensive islands, during peak high season. And why 2 people, as simply 1 person can handle it. Because they can afford it. Then ask for money ... ... got it

A state that thinks men can get pregnant. A state that wants people that never owned slaves, to give people that weren't slave, money, in a state, that never had slaves. Some of the highest crime cites. Some of the highest amount of homeless. Even have a 'poop app' so can plan your day, to avoid as you walk around in one city. Some areas so dry, have restricted use of water, to wash car, water the lawn. High taxes, utilities, gas prices. Sign me up Even those that can afford to live their are leaving. That's a bit telling. On topic ... fires & earthquakes are enough to deter most from living there.

Thought my point was obvious, considering the post I replied to. That post pointing out historically, probably half of the USA coastline belong to Mexico at one time. Or shall we say the remnants of the Spanish conquerors. Why stop there, when the original folks should have that honor, naming of the Gulf, reflecting them, with a few of my suggestions thrown in. Clues in all my suggestions. Thought that was obviously except maybe to the most ignorant of folks. Though should have been enlightened with those suggested names, I would have though. Now ... who's the troll ?

How many times a day do you pee and what it says about your health
KhunLA replied to Rimmer's topic in The Wellness Zone
As stated earlier, pretty sure my diet has definitely helped, possibly shrinking my prostate a bit, if not quite a bit. As most symptoms of the past, has dissipated. The need or urge to P all day, especially mid sleep. Increased volume & stream. May help explain why the diet (low sugar / carb) is mostly responsible ... -
And they statt @ ~600k baht for AT Same price as that MG4 Wonder if they have lifetime warranties for any parts 🙄
-
And ... at the 900k kms mark, it still has 85% capacity ... Contemporary Amperex Technology (CATL) - the world's largest battery maker - is now moving its long-life electric vehicle batteries from the R&D and prototype stage to the launch phase. It just announced that it will supply an EV battery that can last 15 years and will be good to cover nearly one million miles. CATL gives it a 10-year or 600,000 miles warranty, and guarantees that it will have 85% capacity retention at that stage. I believe CATL guarantees their batteries to 'auto makers' for 1M kms, or so was told by YT'er 'Electric Viking'
