  1. So, at total non event. This is the only sensible answer they could have given.
  2. You are talking gibberish mate. "server crime" you mean computer crimes, another absolute gem of Thai non Law.
  3. You might take note of @oldcpu's post. I checked with wifey, and at renewal she was with me, with her blue book and my yellow book. Sorry if I mislead somehow. Now, some local immigration offices might just be happy to issue a certificate, for a fee. Chamchuri will never hear about it.
  4. My wife tells me that for license renewals the proof of residence isn't needed.
  5. Just try to paint 1 sqm of that roof, outside, with white paint. Then check the temperature in the centre of that patch and compare to any other area of that roof and make your own decision. You couldn't do that with metal sheets of course. Also as someone suggested a layer of ceiling boards would help too, but to me that roof looks weak and not cope with the extra load, it may have leaks that could damage the boards.
  6. If I had to stay away 6 months a year, I'd do 8 weeks in Malaysia, 6 at Lake Toba, 6 in Pokhara, and 6 in Vietmam. The first year at least because there are other places that gave me fond memories. Lake Toba is a bit risky, as far as healthcare is concerned, otherwise I'd be happy to stay there much longer.
  7. And what kind of healthcare does a geezer get in Dumaguete? (Sounds like some French bread with a stutter.)
  8. I attempting to be facetious with that TM30 thing.. In fact the on-line system works quite well, I came back from Bangkok yesterday and reported my address this morning. Also, I used my new passport number and this din't cause any problem either.
  9. Why would you want to get diagnosed at 76?
  10. I would be tempted to say Vietnam. But it is probably because I had two projects projects there and the work/after works relationships were great. Vietnamese are outstanding engineers, keen to speak English. While Thais are just.. Thais.
  11. Amusing that one, BOI have reinvented perpetual movement. I live in Surin, and would need to spend on night in Bangkok to do my TM30, going back to Surin I would need yet another TM30, so off to Bangkok again, etc..
  12. And sex only with a condom. What a life !
  13. Not Israel. Hamas. This is what you wanted to write, I guess.
  14. Wife always nicely wet, a few days into the new cycle.
  15. Maybe, we need a refresh on "sex", many of us "can't remember". My wife had he period last week, while I had a Cholecystectomy.
  16. Maybe we should organise a spending strike?
  17. Leads to a Thai compensation deal.. Without police getting commissions from both sides.
  18. If not done too late... There is a proportionality between the pain experienced before the operation and the difficulty of the procedure, in some cases (about one in twenty) they have to convert keyhole into open surgery. This may raise another issue with insurances, some (especially self insurers ) may refuse to cover elective surgery. Mine was borderline elective, but I got approval without hesitation.
  19. Yeah.. But same level of skill, remember they were supposed to be on a honeymoon, and the first thing the police found out was that they didn't have sex.
  20. Bumrungrad. But someone said he got it done, a few years ago, for a tenth of that price in a government hospital. Bear in mind that now they have, very officially, introduced multi-tier pricing based on the colour of your skin. So 270k for a procedure that doesn't require any particular recovery. Was fully mobile, without pain, after an hour. Back home they do it as outpatient, I stayed one night.
