  1. Looks like a potential cable entry. Here is a very similar item.....
  2. Actually that is exactly what I would do, with a mains tester screwdriver.
  3. Well actually you do know, you need to get the Bangkok Bank app working. Error code RA02 is something to do with incomplete ID information - your best bet is to drop into your branch and have them sort it out.
  4. Indeed. But my reply was not to the OP but to the poster asking about bank accounts.
  5. I got one recently (Bangkok), and the reason is clearly stated. Having said that I got a new bank account earlier in the year and the bank didn't ask for a COR, just a copy of my apartment lease.
  6. They are not directing anybody to do anything. If none of the remaining reasons for transfer applies then there is "other". If that gets the receiver the wished for tagging as a foreign transfer is a totally separate issue.
  7. Kasikorn branch will be fine. I got a 12 month statement from CW branch on the day I did my extension, in Thai, all transfers noted as foreign.
  8. Yes, mine too. The TRN is under CODE in the passbook, I had not really paid attention to the TELLER NO. entry, I wonder why it's not listed in the back of the book.
  9. I transfer from my Wise account each month to Kasikorn. Irrespective of the reason given for the transfer it arrives in seconds from a Wise local Kasikorn account. The bankbook will get "TRN" marked when it's updated. However a statement, either downloaded myself of issued by a branch will show the transfers as either "Trade Finance Deposit" on an English statement or on a Thai statement "ธุรกรรมต่างประเทศ" = "Foreign Transactions".
  10. You can wait till the last day, or in fact the 18th as 19th is a Saturday. Probably not a good idea though.
  11. It's certainly gone from my app (UK based). Last one on the list now is "other"
  12. Not every office ever asked for the "3 months later" evidence. I don't think it was ever a genuine requirement only something some offices decided would be good to irritate people.

    Alarm Clock

I'd go to LK Metro, plenty there to keep you awake. No batteries required.

TG use several concourses so it's not easy to predict. But, as a guide you could look at the same flight on previous days here....https://suvarnabhumi.airportthai.co.th/flight When you find your flight click on it and it will tell you the gate used. As for the lounge I have used occasionally but there is no need to book, just walk in and pay. +1 for Nam's for the taxi. Used them last weekend, perfect service as always.
  15. Pulled it out of where? If he kept it here it worth more in GBP now than before (a little). Anyway this thread misses the crucial factor of what his benchmark is/was.
  16. ETA didn't start yet. It is not the same thing as e-Visa. Anyway, the reason you get the results you are seeing is that the nearby countries are not participating (yet) in the e-Visa system.
  17. The 30 days you mention is probably the days after the application when the approval is under consideration/pending. You can remain in Thailand during that time even though your current 90 day permission has ended. On the day you apply you will be given a date to return to collect the final approved extension
  18. Is there actually any reason why he cant get the annual extension in the last 15 days of his current entry (assuming he's got his 400k together by that time)?
  19. There have been several threads on getting this from Savannakhet and Vientiane. Same financial requirement, 400k for 2 months. Here's one;
  20. On your printed statement, not the bank book, what do your Wise transfers show as? Mine show as "Trade Finance Deposit" on an English statement but show as "ธุรกรรมต่างประเทศ" on a Thai version = "Foreign Transaction". And it makes no difference what reason I use for the transfer, they all show the same.
  21. Since last week? What happened?
