rooster59
Police to summon, charge tollway motorcyclist By The Nation JS100 radio's photo. Police have identified the motorcyclist who was seen riding on the Don Mueang Tollway Friday and will summon him to face charges, a senior police officer said on Saturday. Pol Maj-General Jiraphat Phumichit, deputy commissioner of the Metropolitan Police Bureau, said the Vibhavaid police station had identified the motorcyclist through tracing the licence plate, and are now in the process of taking legal action against him. Photos were taken of a motorcyclist riding on the elevated tollway near Dong Mueang International Airport at 8.44 am. Radio station JS 100 posted a photo of the biker on their Facebook page, leading to a lot of public criticism of the motorcyclist. Jiraphat said he would seek cooperation from the Don Mueang Tollway Co Ltd and the Expressway Authority of Thailand to prevent more motorists sneaking onto expressways. anon467367354
If a motorcycle can keep up with traffic, the tollway is the safest road to drive on.

Jip99
All fine and dandy but, whatever your personal opinion is about motorcycles on tollways, rules is rules.
12DrinkMore
Remarkable. Only a few days ago they couldn't identify a police truck, and I believe the driver is still unknown.
Mrjlh
Biggest problem with bikes on the tollway is other driver attitudes which isn't going away any time soon. I'm bigger get out of my way. And just where do you propose the bike to drive? If you say in the far left emergency lane that won't work either. That the private lane for those who think it's only for them during high traffic times.
Cranky
Pests. Keep them off the highways or the carnage might allow Thailand to pip Libya for the coveted No. 1 spot. Hmm...
