It comes in rolls with different patterns and you glue it on the walls. After you can paint it in the desired color.

Since I am not an English spoken by native tongue, I am not even sure if it is spelled right.

Can anybody please tell me what the right thing is called ? Best is if anybody knows the Thai words for it and where I can buy it. It is very common in France.

Thanks.

It's look like that :

from what you describe its Lincrusta is what you are after and it more like linoleum than fibreglass

Usually in rolls 1m or even 1.5m wide and very retro, usually it was set up just upto the dado rail as a frieze.

It costs a bloody fortune in the UK,(£200/roll) so it gonna be an arm and a leg here

If you do it with anaglypta no one will tell the difference!

I'm looking for the same thing. But I'm going to use it on the ceiling. It hides the scarf on plaster-board and make the surface smooth forever without any cracks. Would have to bring it from Europe if I can't find in Thailand. Contemplating using the 6 mm smart-board instead and cover it with the thin woven fibreglass cloth, it will be very strong and small chance for discolouration due the any leak. If you let it go down 10mm on the walls there will be no bugs getting through. 200g/sqm seem to be the normal thickness. And it has to be very stiff, not the woven fibres you use for resin. It around 50 bath/sqm.
