Muzik Cafe in Patpong - still there? Changed?

When passing through Bkk I often used to spend a night at Muzik Café in Patpong.  The band was always good, playing a great mixture of music.  Drinks service was good too, and there was usually a mixed crowd without being too busy, and a relaxed but fun atmosphere. I also recall there was a disco/club right opposite for those who wanted to continue into the night.

I've not stayed in that area for about 3 years now, and I'd like to know 1. is Muzik Café still there, and 2. if things have changed at all (as so many other things have in LOS).

Yes, the house band were always good - hopefully still the same band.

The interesting elements both tangible and intangible that made Patpong different if not unique have long gone. It's just a trashy night market now. Soi Japan is closed to Farang. The gay bars are of no interest. There are no real GG bars. No decent restaurants. No reason to visit the area at all. Patpong has gone.
