That is why they should take the biometrics on everyone they deport then check anyone suspicious regardless of how new or old the pp is.  The biometrics thing will become nearly universal within a very few years I am sure.

How many would operation TV eagle net?

Ah racists and perhaps now sexists enter the play?  Didn't know gender dysfunction was a deportable offence.  The worst gold and wallet thieves  in Pattaya seem to be all local girl/boys.  Can't deport them anyway. But they just tag and release them I think.  Like trout.

How sad for them, they choosed the wrong country. In Sweden you get deported to Africa in a private jet with 5 caretakers from government who will stay a few days at a luxuary hotel. And you also get about $10000 if you agree to go. After 2 weeks another jet is leaving with a single afican and caretakers on board ... And it is true!

The new feminist/socialist corrupt country is Sweden, Thailand is sane in this business.

and if you are a good looking male 4 caretakers will be runner-offs of the latest Miss Sweden competition and the Fairy Queen will head the team.

Thai tourist visas are given to people from countries that benefit Thailand. Thailand has no obligation to hand out visas to anyone, and if people from those countries as a whole tend to be a pain in the ass, they shouldn't and/or don't.

If you want to work in Thailand, you need a work permit. The reason is you might be taking work away from thai people. In some cases, where thais don't have the education or knowhow to do certain things, this can be overlooked. But when it comes to selling sex, then these girls are competing with Thai girls. It's pretty obvious if you think about it, really.

Drivel - first of all, Africa is a continent, not a country. Secondly, a country's economic benefit to Thailand has zero bearing on whether or not tourist visas are granted to an individual so you've just made that up in the vain hope it makes you sound authoritative.

It doesn't

Besides, Nigeria is a major trading partner for Thailand.

They do more business with Thailand than the UK; business that creates and preserves jobs for Thais in sectors that don't require them to spread their legs for roadkill farangs.

Not many are actually deported to Africa or anywhere.

10 000 of illegal immigrants are running around without any problems. Just now 100eds of illegal immigrants from Afghanistan are demonstrationsfrihet on a square in Stockholm since weeks.

Sweden has a lot to learn from Thailand.

That's if they  actually do deport them!An article on TV a few years ago highlighted there were upwards of 400 Nigerians for example who had been imprisoned(some for years)for over staying their visa here.It took a lot of time and diplomatic negotiation to eventually charter a whole plane and fly them back.Don't somehow think the Nigerian Government would be footing the bill for their tickets...and the Thai's certainly don't want to make it a precedent! This was just another token PR exercise for the media me thinks!

I have run into a couple of the chatty guys on rare trips to Sukhumvit. It always seems like they have some business venture here, in fact one guy took me to his store, a full African products mini mart staffed by 2 more Africans ! I think someone is definitely getting paid to look the other way in many cases. I actually have no issue with the guys who start businesses here (even without official status) if they are just trying to make an honest living, good for them, the ones that engage in pimping and financial scams and all other sorts of chicanery are those that should be rounded up.

It will indeed. It's been in the news recently - Australia is the first country that will apparently use biometrics instead of passports for entry and exit starting around 2020. By 2030, very likely the entire world will have followed suit. Having said that, privacy concerns makes me think this is not such a good idea, but as far as being able to identify someone definitively and eliminating the global trade in illicit travel documents and illegal entry, biometrics will be a major advantage.

Indeed. What I find interesting is that you can even find stores in Thailand with staff who are neither Thai nor look Thai - it's a very unusual thing for Thailand. Nana is one of the few places where you'll see this, but according to another news article, the authorities are starting to crack down so perhaps in time this kind of shop will become a thing of the past.

There is a work permit for prostitution?

If you want to work in Thailand as a foreigner, you need a work permit. It's implied.

So Einstein...how does a foreigner get a work permit to work as a prostitute.

Sarcasm goes straight over you head.
