PeaceBlondie
I'm turning 40,000 kilometers this week on the CBR150 I bought new in July 2003. I checked the owner's manual, but I sort of doubt they expected the original owner to stil have the manual this long, or the bike. I'm on the original battery. Of course the lights dim at idle, but that was always true to some extent. The brake fluid looks brown. Time to flush and replace? Perhaps, change the brake pads front and rear while we're at it? Speaking of hydraulic fluids, how about the fork? Seals look fine. Fork springs? I'm fat. How about, we install an egine from a CB500 single? A turbo? Tywais
When I saw your topic title I started scratching my head and thinking "he drove it around the block a few times and now ready for a major checkup, must have been doing wheelies all the time". 40km Sorry, just found it funny. Are you going to do it yourself, else just take it to a bike shop (trustworthy one) and tell them to check everything. Add to the list, spark plug, possible carburator cleaning. Might add a compression test to verify the rings.

And the 15 horsepower lets me (with my 90 kilo weight) do wheelies all the time, easy. I don't do my own work. I can take it to the big Honda dealer by airport plaza, or to the trusty friend in San Kamphaeng. The carb got reassembled recently. Hmm, a compression check sounds good. I've always replaced chain, sprockets, and tires as they wore out, and gotten frequent oil changes. Anything else? It spent 11 months at the beach, and the rust damage is minimal.
