Amid the chaos, the girl’s older sister reportedly attempted to fight off the students, but they successfully separated the mother from her daughter. Witness Josh Wagner, who stopped his car believing he was witnessing a schoolyard fight, helped restrain Ihsan until police arrived. The girl, visibly shaken, fled into the school with her boyfriend, yelling, "My dad was trying to kill me." Zahraa reportedly pursued her into the school but was denied entry.
