I know this is subjective but anyone have experience with Lao banks , opening an account, ease of ATM access withdrawing in foreign countries etc.

There is a chance i will be moving there and have no experience at all with the banks.

BCEL is the main 'government' bank but usually is very busy. ACLEDA is good . You probably won't be able to open an account without a work permit or at least proof of residency.
