Over 86,000 Homes Damaged or Destroyed by Floods in Chiang Mai This Year

CityNews – Over 86,000 homes were damaged because of flooding during this years monsoon season, according to the Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office, Chiang Mai.

 

A report was published on November 7 identified that 86,373 homes were damaged or destroyed due to flooding this year, along with 17,329 rai of farmland across 22 districts in Chiang Mai.

 

This year, only three districts were unaffected by flooding – Phrao, Doi Tao and San Kamphaeng.
