Permanent Parking In Bangkok

Recommended Posts

I'm just about to buy a new Honda Jazz with my girlfriend. My apartment building's carpark, on Sukhumvit 22, is "full". Does anyone know anywhere for long term (permanent) parking in this area (Sukhumvit soi 22/20)? The Imperial Queen's Park Hotel have quoted me 2,000 baht a month to use their carpark which seems steep!

Thanks.

In our apartment our first parking space came free but we have to pay 2000b per month for the second one. As the last poster said...that is not a bad price for secure parking.

If you are renting an apartment, then that should include a car park space, if there is a car park.

I would speak to your landlord and ask him which car bay is yours. If he says there isnt one, then tell him you may have to move as you have just bought a car. I guarantee, he will find a space for you :o

Thanks for the advice. I'm on the "waiting list" for a space at my apartment (Liberty Place, soi 22) but the car parking is definitely limited. As 2,000 a month doesn't seem a ripoff I will probably use the Queen's Park Hotel until a space here becomes free.

Cheers.
