Bought a Pandoo set top box from a very nice man, who has come round regularly to try and make it work, However, it constantly loses the WiFi signal, sends messages that the coonection/app I am using has stopped working. I was fortunate to be able to watch 2 hours of cricket yesterday before it froze.

 

This morning nothing working, apart from the main home screeen. I have a speedy 30/100 3BB fibre connection right next to the box, connected by LAN cable. Mobiles and PC get WiFi perfectly. Netflix works perfectly on my smart TV.

 

Any suggestions about a better box or an alternative for watching a range of sports channels mainly for rugby & cricket and Thai TV.

Probably a device with 1Gb ram and 8GB memory?

 

I would suggest it best to sell or replace the device since it will probably not improve as there is very little support or firmware updates.

 

Better off buying a device (Minix, Himedia, Zidoo, Egreat etc) with a min of 2GB ram and which receives firmware support, updates and there are active forums.
