Put an air scoop on my chicken chaser to see if it helps with cooling when cruising at 65kph at low throttle opening on a hot day.

I was going to buy one of these just in case.

After exploring mounting systems. I thought no. I'll simply go to my local shop and buy two Whiskey bottles (1.5l) of 91 octane and bung then under the seat, suitable protected.  When I get back from a ride if I haven't used the fuel then I can simply poor the fuel into the tank and return the bottles to my local shop.

I have a 500ml camping fuel bottle I could buy another but local whiskey bottle will suffice. Fuel gauge is a bit wonky. It registered just above empty so i put 1 1/2 litres in at local shop prior to going for inspection tomorrow and it went past empty???? If I have some extra on board I won't hesitate about exploring.

It is not a 340,000 Baht new TransAlp

Oh and Nui was very good with the tires. I got a bit greedy with the sizing on the first two so had to order a smaller one and do some juggling.

Took the Mighty Lifan in for some service.

The chain was slapping on broken ground so

replacing the worn front sprocket and

re-positioning the hard rubber guard/guide on the swing arm

cured that.

The speedo needle was doing that jumpy thing,

so mech lubed the cable & gear.

Added some brake fluid to R resiviour,

Aired tires to 32/30psi.

B200.

Had local guy hand wash & detail her.

Songkran.

Reminds of heads up on cable lube,  just lubed my throttle cables, clutch cable and speedo cable with Sonex silicon spray which does not deteriorate cable inner lining so to prolong the life and cable action.

 NGK iridium.

I bought one off Lazada for ~B350.

Had mech install in ceeber

along w/ changing burned-out rear running lamps.

The old plug  was platinum and

prolly would have out-lived papa.

A work in progress. My oil cooler.

I still need to make holes in the bodywork for the hoses and make a proper shield to stop me shredding my lower legs when I dismount.

I have an old Wave bought for exploring farm tracks up north. It needs a bit of TLC.

I bought some NX56 Engine Tune UP spray off Lazada. I tried it last night on a 40,000km piston from my Zoomer and over night it worked brilliantly the carbon simply layer wiped of the piston head.

Today will fill the combustion chamber through the Wave sparkplug hole and leave overnight.

If that doesn't fix the irritating buzz, it is off to the man at the end of the road for a rebuild.

^ I don't have an Endoscope but this is what dripped out.

Hard start after but ... eventually.

Next up spraying it into the intake to clean the port.

Would think getting rid of muck from inside may mess up the exhaust valve seating.

Will get a drive and rear sprocket from Red Barron didn't get around to doing when I bought a new chain.

Done 6,630 miles so oil and filter change to do.

Clean the 4 air filters and check or change for new.

Get Castrol 20w40 Activ oil from local garage because the carriage costs on Lazada are getting silly leaving no benefit.

Not a lot of notice taken by my Led white twin headlights by vehicles pulling out from side roads so much now.

So many scooters fitted with them so they just think another bike I guess.

Ordered a loud horn see if that might get more attention. ????

Yesterday I went to 7-Eleven on my Goat-Tracker but I must have got an electric wire pinched between the oil cooler cover and the crankcase and I puked oil all the way along the street.

Kitty litter to the rescue in the carport and driveway. SHMBO not amused.

Fixed an annoying plastic panel rattle on my Goat-Tracker by applying two strips of 1 cm width duct tape.(not quite a colour match). Now | can hear the engine rattle much more clearly,.

Plastic ties are good for rattles and then a bit of touch up paint.

Ordered a Bosch trumpet horn for my big bike the Chinese version lasted 2 days.

Another lesson in you get what ya pay for, so I guess the import tax is worth paying sometimes.

That's if it's any good as well though, 5 times the price.

Splash lubrication like most small Hondas et al. It is amazing how far it splashes if you inadvertently start the bike without the dipstick in place.????
