A Thai family of eight persons were all rescued after their speedboat was damaged and capsized.

 

Daily News said it was lucky because everyone was wearing life jackets.

 

Among those saved was a two year old child.

 

The family - four females and four males - spent an hour in the water before they were rescued by a combination of Phuttasat Songkhroh rescue and a tourist speedboat.

 

They found the upturned and damaged speedboat of the family ten nautical miles offshore with the entire family floating nearby.

 

Cold and exhausted they were all taken to Klaeng Hospital.
