‘Cup E’ model arrested for DUI

A Thai model and internet idol was arrested last night for DUI after a night out drinking champagne in Bangkok.

 

Police arrested Nanthanit “Jane” Samanprathan at a checkpoint on Chaengwattana Road after the breath analyzer showed her alcohol level at 63 milligrams in 100 milliliters of blood. The Thai law limits the blood alcohol concentration at 50 milligrams.

 

Police charged the model for driving under the influence of alcohol, and she was released on THB20,000 bail, with a court date set on Friday.
