pagallim Posted December 5, 2017 Posted December 5, 2017 Any idea where I can get hold of Ringgit in Phuket? My own bank doesn't have them, and I don't want to use the airport currency people.
schlog Posted December 5, 2017 Posted December 5, 2017 Exchange booths in patong where the malaysian cruiseliners are or Central the exchange booth next the banks. But don't expect a good rate...

But don't expect a good rate... It would be a cold day in hell before I'd venture to Patong, however I'll check out Central as you suggest. Not driving there for a couple of weeks so plenty of time.
Somtamnication Posted December 5, 2017 Posted December 5, 2017 I bought a minimal amount at KL airport. Then find a foreign exchange place in KL that does not charge a fee. Went there last month.

Will be driving there so want a reasonable amount to cover the border crossing admin costs.Sent from my SM-G935F using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile app
