Illegal loggers arrested after park ranger jumps on fleeing car

 

 

Sanook released a video of an operation mounted by heavily armed "Tiger Rangers" from the Thap Lan National Park in Korat.

 

The Rangers were in an area of Buri Ram following up on reports that illegal loggers were hiding out there.

 

At one point in the video ranger Chalerm Pitklang can be seen launching himself onto the windshield of a fleeing Mazda car. He is thrown off but suffered only minor injuries.

 

Later in the video recorded Tuesday the rangers successfully arrest two men named as Somchai, 42 and Worawut, 24.

 

They were found with a quantity of Siamese rosewood logs in a pick-up.

He's very lucky not to be severely injured, or worse.

No! he was acting movie.  He was the main actor so he had to hop on anything.

Don't these rangers have guns ?

I think he saw the same video as me, a Russian doing the same thing. It seemed to me that the windshield must have been doctored to allow the Russkie to jump into the car and point a gun.

You may ask yourself what they learn in police school (if there is one).

I can't play those video's .

But ok , why not use the guns in stead of jumping on a fleeing car ?

Lets keep talking about jumping on the hood instead of tslking about the very real problem of illegal logging operations destroying the remaining populations of Rosewood throughout SE Asia.

 

These Rangers did a great job apprehending the loggers.
