Yes they do, and tyres wear at very different rates, they are made much harder here.

So would I,  just a quick thought, the Duellers I had on a 3.0 Vigo went to slicks very quickly how could they be hard.

It is obvious from the wear rate, uk tyres last 25000 miles if you are lucky here 100000 plus kms, obvious they are much harder.

Sorry but I don't go along with that...

Plus the max I got out of my LOS tyres was 70K, l replaced 2 with exactly the same tyre that wore out in about 30K, obviousy to soft, dodgy batch, so l bought a different brand..

I have Nexen road tyres on my Vigo, wanted less road noise, they appear to be softer, plus a good wet weather tyre. Have 73K km on them and need replacing now. My local tyre shop, one of those Mobil places always told me to not go on kms but years on the vehicle, change about every four years. They probably mean for the average motorist and not Somchai who guns down to Bangkok 7 days a week hauling cabbages.

So 30K out of a pair of tyres is not "experience"...?

Or one year out of a pair of street/strip drag tyres that still had tread is not "experience"..?

You can find new Bridgestone tyres at 4000 Thb...

Yes, maybe, but not at Toyota Chiang Mai between Meechock and Maejo, and/or maybe not for a Toyota Hilux G Vigo Champ 4x4.
