New Star Wars film- like it or not?

Featured Replies

The original rambo is rubbish. Go watch it again and review it objectively. Cliche nonsense. All Rocky films junk. He has made lots from bad films.

Bourne moves got better in 2 and 3.

I agree with your observation, but the Lord of the Rings is based on an extremely well written and highly regards books. Star Wars is not.

I actually liked the films better than the books, but not so with The Hobbit. I thought the book was better.

The pity about the movie is that the book was only worth one, and at a stretch two movies. To make it into 3 was just greed, and they had to invent a load of rubbish not even in the book to spin it out.

Conversely, LOR was worth at least 4 movies, and they left out way too much.

If they'd had a clue ( which they obviously didn't ) they'd have made a tv series ( with different actors in the main roles ) that made the entire story and not left out huge chunks of it. They could have made it in parallel with the movies, using the same sets and extras to keep costs down.
