Travelling from UK to Thailand on Thai Passport due to expire soon

Could anyone advise on current passport rules for travelling from UK to Thailand on a Thai passport? My wife's Thai passport is due to expire about a month after the date we will leave Thailand after being there for about 3 weeks. The plan is to renew the passport in Thailand when we are there. Will there be any problems leaving the UK or entering Thailand with a passport that only has about 4-6 weeks left on it? I'm referring only to a Thai passport as she does not have a UK passport yet, only a UK Residence Card for FLR.

No, my Thai wife travelled from the UK to Thailand on her expired passport last year.

There is no problem traveling to Thailand on any Thai passport.

 

The only difficulty could be if the passport has expired some countries will not permit exiting with it.

 

Thailand always permits entry with Thai passports even with expired ones.
