Man arrested with meth stash in Suphan Buri

About 100 policemen raided a shophouse in Suphan Buri’s Uthong district late on Friday night and arrested a drug suspect, seizing 4.95 million methamphetamine pills.

 

The raid was jointly led by Pol Maj-General Itthipol Atchariyapradit, commander of the crime investigation division of the Metropolitan Police Bureau, Pol Maj-General Krissana Supdej, deputy commissioner of the Provincial Police Bureau 7, and Pol Maj-General Somchai Raksanoh, commander of the Suphan Buri Police.

 

Police arrested Kriangsak Wongsuwan, 22, at his rented shophouse on Uthong-Dan Chang road in Moo 3 village in Tambon Uthong.

 

Police seized the drug, a car, a pickup truck and a motorcycle found at the shophouse.

 

Itthipol said his division sought help from the Provincial Police Bureau 7 and Suphan Buri Police to make the arrest following the arrest of a drug suspect in Bangkok recently when over 4 million meth pills were seized.

 

The suspect implicated Kriangsak, who is a Suphan Buri resident, and another suspect, who was identified only as Je and is still at large.

Police learned from the suspect arrested in Bangkok that Kriangsak and Je, who is allegedly the gang leader, had been renting a shophouse in Uthon district to store the drug, Itthipol added.

I will take a wild guess, and say "There is no way in hell that he´s a "suspect" no more!"
