Just having a jolly good laugh! Wais all round after Buriram teens threaten district official with a bullet

A bunch of Buriram teens were let off with a warning after they threatened to kill a new district official with a bullet to the head.

 

The 15 year olds - taken in to Non Din Daeng police station by their parents yesterday - had gone on Facebook to threaten a man just recently arrived and tasked with sorting out drug problems.

 

They had said on the official's page: "It's f***ing you isn't it. Don't make any trouble. Or you'll be eating a young man's bullet".

 

The official replied civilly that it was his job to work to solve problems in the area. The postings were shared across social media.

 

Yesterday the teens gave some apologies and some wais saying it was just high spirited joshing.

 

The cops accepted that they weren't really involved in the drugs trade and warned them about their future conduct.

 

The official was happy with that and decided not to press charges but advised the teens to be mindful of the computer crimes act in the future.
