I'm looking to connect with entrepreneurs, founders, and people who work for startups, especially in the technology sector. I found a handful of meetup groups but they don't really meet often, maybe every one or two months. Can you recommend places in Bangkok where startup people come together? I'm thinking of places like co-working spaces, regular gatherings, universities, offices dedicated for startups or similar things.

Dtac startup accelerator and RISE are one of reputised startup accelerator in Thailand. Both are in Siam and Ploenchit which are not very distanced so probably you can go and check for any scheduled events there. Or C-ASEAN which is located opposite to 'The Street' could be worth for your visiting too.
