good Tailor in Chiang Mai?

Featured Replies

I need to get a decent suit made for a special occasion and want to avoid the tourist trader trap. Has anyone had a good experience getting a suit made in town?

In bkk there are Indian tailors everywhere, I think they charge $100 for a suit and a couple of shirts etc......

Looked at a few, poor (fake) materials and unimpressed..

Sorry its not your answer but tailor on ten (bangkok) is HIGHLY recommended, from initial consultation, through to final fitting every step was 100% customer service of the highest level.

DGRIE also good but thai / farang priced me.

I didn't say they're good .... Just very widely available....

I had a 3 piece suit made for a wedding last year at CM Custom Tailors, 212 Ratchapakinai Rd, Chiang Mai 50200, I was very impressed with it and by the general experience. They took the time, I had 3 fittings at various stages to make sure all was right. Would certainly use again if I needed another.

Frank and Vanita Sethi at Fashion King located in the Kalare Building in the Night Bazaar area do good work.   They both speak perfect English and will work with you to be sure you get what you want.
