DSI still waits for police to hand over Victoria Secret investigation files

Prosecution against human trafficking suspects in the Victoria Secret massage parlour scandal could be delayed as the Department of Special Investigation (DSI) has yet to receive investigation files from Wang Thong Lang police, a senior DSI official said.

 

The DSI has taken the Victoria Secret scandal as a special case which means Wang Thong Lang police has to hand over the case, which implicated several senior police officers, to the DSI for further investigation.

 

DSI officials went to Wang Thong Lang police station on Wednesday (Jan 17) to get all the information and documents the police have in the case. However, the police told them that they could not hand over the investigation files to the DSI until their superior at the Royal Thai Police have checked them.
