People in Bangkok will feel another round of cold spell next week as a strong high pressure wave from China will be moving down to blanket Thailand from the northern part down to lower parts, including Bangkok.

According to the Meteorological Department’s forecast issued before noon today, it said that during January 29-February 4, the country’s upper part will face turbulent weather condition with thunder rainstorms coming first, after which temperatures will drop sharply by 6-8 degrees Celsius, and winds will blow strongly.

It said the new round of cold wave from China will be approaching the upper part of Thailand and South China Sea.
