Stuck like this for a long time now, windows 10 Pro.

Should I wait or can I just power off and try again? thanks

Can take quite some time. On one of my laptops it took more than 4 hours....

Thanks, 2 hours or so later and it restarted.

Not sure what happened I can't see that it updated anything at all, just to be sure I restarted again to see what would happen and it came back ok this time.

You can look in the Windows log (Computer Management, Even Viewer) for possible errors.
