NGV Car Fillup - Compressed Natural Gas Stations in Phuket?

Featured Replies

Hi, I am in Phuket with a Honda City CNG model.

I am looking for any NGV gas stations. I see many LPG ones, but no NGV.

Can anyone point me in the right direction, please?

There aren't any that I know of. Only LPG on the island, unless one has just been built recently that I haven't seen.

I appreciate your trying to be helpful Psimbo but just because Google results show them on a map, doesnt mean these places have CNG/NGV pumps. After looking more closely, I am afraid they do not...

I just drove down from Bangkok and did find some stations that have both CNG/NGV and petrol. However any that had CNG/NGV were clearly marked with a big NGV sign under the PPT sign.

PTT's own Google map does not show any stations in Phuket... I found some article mentioning that they are reducing the number of CNG/NGV stations. They had planned one for Phuket many years ago, but it never came to fruition. I read that it was not very economical on this side of the peninsula.

Anyways, CNG is growing a lot, so I hope they will make one in central Phuket.

Or perhaps, hopefully, there is ONE somewhere here that we farangs haven't found yet!? I havent found it yet!!

Any update to this. Wife just bought a 2nd hand CNG/NGV car. Far as I can see cannot buy in Phuket. Think I noticed new pump places on Airport Access road and also past PTT near Wat Chalong. Thoughts. Thanks. Guess it's only use the E20 in car option.
