Troops arrest 118 gamblers in Pathum Thani den

Troops raided an underground gambling den in Pathum Thani’s Lam Lukka district on Thursday evening and rounded up 118 punters.

 

The gambling den was disguised as a snooker parlour, called Fenix Snoooker, in Tambon Bueng Khamprom.

 

Troops broke down the doors and stormed in to arrest 60 men and 58 women. They seized Bt195,406 in cash, Bt17,580 worth of coins in slot machines and Bt9,420 cash chips.

 

The staff and operator of the den apparently fled through a hidden door at the back as the den has security cameras installed outside.

The punters were sent to the Lam Lukka police station to be fined.
