Can anyone tell me if there is any daily coverage of the Winter Olympics on TV and if so the channel number that it is on?  In advance, I thank anyone for their response.

I'm watching online thru my home country's TV rights holder's coverage (USA-NBC).

I haven't seen any info on Thai TV's coverage. But I wouldn't try to watch it there even if it was on due to TH language issues.

Last night on the Opening Ceremonies, it looked like the Thai delegation was maybe 10 athletes or so.

I was looking for a free online stream (without registering) but couldn't find any.

Too bad, it seems that Thailand isn't interested in olympic sports.

I can't see it online from my homecountry because they can see i'm not there right now...but i still pay them!

Winter Olympics, are you surprised?

I was astonished that they have a team at all (saw them at the opening ceremony).

4 people without the slightest chance to appear in a top 30 or 50 list.

All are from mixed Thai/foreign relationships and live in Italy or Switzerland.

How big is your interest in Sepak Takraw world championships?

If you supply some details (country, provider) you could start a thread in the IT forum how to get around.

There is another thread on the topic but also clueless.

Maybe better just say "Thailand and sport, are you surprised?"

They have 33 medals from the Olympics - total in the history.

Majority are women weightlifting and taekwondo.

Embarrassing for country of 70 million, but shows the priorities and culture.

I guess they don't have ping pong ball or dart shooting from you know where in the Winter Olympics...

But who knows, it might be something Thailand could work in for a future games.

Some amazing talent to be found in this country... I know I'd be tuned in...

Sign up for Sling Tv https://watch.sling.com/. It's $25 / month but gives you all the American channels plus Olympics coverage. Small world these days. You need to use a vpn of course. I use Nord VPN. Works like a charm. You can also login to NBC's coverage via their website with your Sling account.

Yep, Sling TV would be fine for Olympics coverage, as would similar services like YouTube TV and DirecTV Now and Fubo TV -- all official, legal, legitimate cable TV over the internet services. Though you may need a U.S. address and possibly U.S. bank card to sign up. And the local market channels you receive will be determined by your connection's IP address (such as via VPN server location). In fact, you can't even view the Sling website or sign up without a U.S. IP address.

I've used Sling TV before and liked it a lot, very good and reliable service that streams well here. But not quite correct to say it has "all the American channels." It has a good selection of cable channels, and typically has the local NBC and Fox affiliates in major cities if you sign up for the $25  month Blue package. But often does NOT have the local CBS channel. And the Blue package doesn't generally include ABC or ESPN.

Here's what Sling is saying on their website about access to Olympics coverage via their service:

Meaning that's where your internet IP address has to be located in order for their system to provide you access to those channels.

Some of the other services I mentioned above, like YouTube TV and DirecTV Now, are a bit more expensive, like $35 a month, but probably have the NBC affiliate access in a wider range of U.S. city/markets than Sling's list above.

One of the downsides of Sling to me, but perhaps a clever packaging decision on their part, is the $20 Orange package includes the ABC affiliate in major markets and ESPN, but NOT Fox or NBC. While the $25 Blue package includes the NBC and Fox affiliates in major markets, but not ESPN or ABC. Which kind of pushes some folks to subscribe to their combined Orange and Blue package, which runs $40 a month, and no longer is quite the bargain.
