Hi, I have a question / request. I have just been told that the Scandinavian (Daenen, Sweden and Norwegians) for a Lao visa on arrival, no fees have to pay more. I only knew it from Swiss for an ON-arrival visa (14 days). Does anyone have exact information and can confirm this or just a rumor again.

Thank you

Swiss citizens can travel to Laos visa exempt, no visa, just a stamp for 14 days.

That's why they don't have to pay.

(I know from personal experience in 2011)

There is a list of visa exempt countries for Laos.

I doubt it applies to Scandinavians.

Some info in this recent thread.

Can't guarantee that it is up-to-date:

Looks like Switzerland and Luxemburg are the only western European countries that can travel visa exempt.
