Over 30 Thai tourists yesterday (Feb 11) lodged complaints with Saensuk police in Chon Buri, accusing a tour company in Bangkok of fraud after they were abandoned in Osaka, Japan.

Acting on behalf of the tourists to file fraud charges with Saensuk police station against the tour company, KPS World Service in Nong Khaem district in Bangkok, Ms Suchada Nadee, 56, said she was among 33 tourists who bought a six-day and four-night tour package tour to Osaka, Japan from Feb 2-6.

The tourists paid a total of 1,194,700 baht to the company. Ms Suchada said the money has been transferred to the company’s Siam Commercial Bank account since January and on Feb 2 they have received round trip tickets from Bangkok to Osaka.
