Deputy Prime Minister Prawit Wongsuwan yesterday wears a traditional outfit along with other Cabinet members to join the royally initiated winter festival Oon Ai Rak Klay Kwam Nao, at the Royal Plaza and Sanam Suea Pa.

Dressed in period outfits, Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-o-cha yesterday led his Cabinet members and their spouses to attend the royally initiated winter festival, Oon Ai Rak Klay Kwam Nao, at the Royal Plaza and Sanam Suea Pa.

Wearing period costume is the theme of the festival, which features picturesque structures decorated with flowers.

Reflecting royal wishes for Thai people to be joyful and overcome the sadness of the past, as well as to pay tribute to the great achievements of Kings Rama V and King Rama IX, the grounds of Dusit Palace and Sanam Suea Pa have been transformed for the grand exhibition.

Oh dear!! I am at a loss for words. One must be careful of what one says. I expect the mods will be busy today.

At least it seems like a happy occasion for the elite and a distraction and release for the PM's from the stress caused lately by the Shinas.
