I will be visiting Korat next weekend for a few nights, but have only passed through the city in the past. How's the night life in Korat? Bars? Discos? Coyote? Any good hotel deals? Restaurants you can recommend?

Hey George. As I live 80 Km outside of Korat, I don't have much info for you and would leave it to others who actually live there. But.....seems a good starting point might be the Pasinee Restaurant where Mike and other expat patrons could give you some pointers. I did stay a night a few weeks ago and the Coyote was quite nice...but admittedly by the time I got there I was already under the influence of a lot of Chang. :o

On the other hand there is a new spot that just opened right across from the Mall by the people bridge.Nice place with decent food and prices.Give it a look,easy to find.
