Connecting video sources to TVs in restaurant

Hi guys! Trying to help a good friend of mine spice up his Thai restaurant. No pun intended haha! He wants two TVs and will show movies, TV programs, live sports, etc. Told him to get an hdmi matrix switch. Showed him various options, some on the higher end  *Commercial link edited out*  and some on the cheaper side from Amazon/ebay. It's weird, but Amazon/ebay has a lot of REALLY low-priced switchers--some as low as $20! First, is an hdmi switch what he actually needs for his set up? If so, is it ok for him to go with those cheap units? He'd like to save money but not at the expense of giving his patrons a poor experience. He has a Blu-ray player and Slingbox. Thanks guys!
