Thai Rath reported that both Thai and foreign tourists were angry at the person or persons responsible for spray painting a large rock at a Chaweng viewing point.

Many people called on the authorities to make sure it doesn't happen again.

A foreign tourist told Thai Rath that it looked awful and spoiled the whole experience of nature.

The word "ENIM" has appeared on the rock with what appears to be "Samuay Thai 2017" underneath.

A picture of the offending graffiti taken by Facebook user "Mookki Craxy" ended up on a Samui fan page as netizens called for action.

What is it with theese moronic people, that have to paint or spray paint so many places? Didn´t they get crayons as small, so their development of creativity stayed at a childs level as an adult?

they feel entitled to spray their ugly shit

If " Banksy " had made this graffiti, you all would claim ownership to the rock.

Do you think the Thai authorities would or should think about that. He would still end up being fined and or deported. Just another a hole vandal as far as I'm concerned.

I hope Thai police finds these shits and they get the book thrown at them.

No , just give them a toothbrush and have them remove it. No charge but can't leave until it is erased.

Trash on Rayong beach is almost as bad. But one is done by mindless action the other by mindless intention.

A global phenomenon, rock art is found in many culturally diverse regions of the world. Some 17000 years ago some vandals drew this in France:

It's actually more likely that that cave paintings were done for the education of younger members of the tribe to teach names etc.

I doubt very much if they were done on other tribes caves.
