are we talking BTS On Nut near Tescos (great little place to have a beer, eat and watch the world go by on the other side of the road) or Phra Khanong were On nut road starts near what used to be called Carrefour, but is now big C.

Shadow Bar is a Soi Cowboy hangout. I've only walked by, but it seems more of a sports bar and less of a tawdry "do me" joint. Not that I have anything against tawdry.

Soi 11 or thereabouts would work better for me as well, and on up to Ekkamai.

What about soi 33 and 33/1. Royal Oak, Dubliner etc. ?
