You hit something....you know you hit something....and don't bother to stop and find out what it was?  Unbelievable.  Oh, wait, no it's not.  This is Thailand.

  • Yet another terrible incident on the daily worsening Thai roads. These people have no responsibility for their actions and probably no remorse either. Absolutely disgusting. R.I.P the old fella, rot i

Did his bike have lights and reflectors?

And were they both sober??

Why aren't those buses fitted with black-box and dashcam as per standard practice on far safer roads?

Unbelievable!!! There is something starkly wrong with country and specifically its people, when you hear such a downbeat arbitrary reported incident like this been given the soapy water treatment. This would be Huge news in any civilised country reported by civilised people!! I suggest that most foreigners reaction in this matter is also.. Uncivilised maybe they just been living in a cesspool world too long!!

RIP to the innocent cyclist!!

There are lots of European and American tourists who happily ride their bicycle in Chiang Mai. Oblivious to the danger instead of taking public transport.

Chiang Mai is a big city not suitable for cyclists! Wake up!

LM<deleted>AO...

Leaving alone the driver. Maybe I am wrong, but this bike has no lamp at all. In my experience, it is quite common in Thailand with push pedal bikes, bikes and cows. This latest in the inner line opposite to the  traffic is the best.
