Baby food

Featured Replies

Does Boots stock baby food airside?

Flying with the lad this week & we've been weaning him off the breast.

The missus makes food for him indoors but we won't be allowed to bring it through security as it minced into gel form for eating & 100ml won't be enough for him

He has no teeth yet.

I can buy water airside but wanted something more wholesome than baby powder

I have gone through with baby food and formula before.  They were quite understanding and just made us drink some in front of them.  This was may be five years ago now, but that was well after the liquids / gels / 100ml ban.  So yeah, my experience may not be relevant, but I'm sure they would still have lenience for baby stuff as long as you can prove it by ingesting some in their presence.

However my experience is old and anecdotal.  May be helpful, may be not.  Take it as you will, and good luck.

Thanks folks.

I'll check Boots & report back for future reference

I just when through security last week and i had two baby bottles, full of cows milk for my kids, 250ml in my kids changing bag and they never even made me take them out. But they did make them take their shoes off while going through.

It seems not every airport follows the same procedures.
