Thai social media was asking a pertinent question yesterday.

Whatever happened to the cool headed Thai displaying "jai yen".

It was decidedly lacking in a video clip posted to Facebook that showed crews of three buses involved in a massive slanging match on the Lam Lukka road in Pathum Thani north of Bangkok.

Thai Rath reported that a big jam built up as other road users were unable to pass as the drivers and conductresses went for it.

At one point in the third video posted on the Praphaphon Chatkhetkam page a long sword was drawn.

For anyone learning the Thai language there were many expletives that it might be best to avoid if you know what is good for you....

Adverse comment about people showing rage was rife across Thai social media.

Children and their toys.

per the video clips, not totally clear who the initial provocateur was without the audio, my bet is the rear bus, likely excessive , infuriating horn-blowing

And this is what this country calls adults and adult behaviour. Still out of the opinion that they do not reach adult stage in life before 50-60 years of age.

My God, that screeching nails on the chalkboard, tourturous feline voice just gave me a headache.

The swordsman with the cute top knot ponytail looks like a fine chap.

My money is on jealousy over the funky disco lights inside the bus

Not very nice to see the behavior of peoples that working for the public.

When Thais sit down in their car, truck, bus, <vehicle>, "Jai Yen" is left sitting on the curb and it's evil twin, "Gaow Raow". takes it's place in the driver's seat.

At most couple of 200-300 bht fines then top it of with some sincerely looking wais at the Pulish station and thats it.
