A dog ran to a local market in Samut Songkram to seek help after was hacked with a knife, severely injuring it, on Friday.

Police have yet to locate and arrest a man who was seen on security camera footage using a long knife to hack the dog’s back four times.

Footage from a camera at the old bus terminal intersection in Muang district showed an unidentified man attacking the dog before it ran to the Mae Klong Market about 50 metres away.

Vendors called Samut Songkram welfare officers, who came to the scene and took the dog to the Mor Rak Sak animal hospital.

The dog was found to have a 5-centimetre-deep wound and a wide cut that needed about 50 stitches. It had to be put under the close care of a veterinarian.

When they find the scum they should cut him up with a knife until he bleeds to death!

In all fairness, the mutt could have bitten him previously and he was trying to rid the area of a vile dog ! Of course, in Thailand, it could have also been that nutcase who makes love to dogs and this one said 'no'

Lets hope they grasp this heaven sent opportunity, I wont say with both hands though for obvious reasons and vaccinate the dog against rabies if its not two late, plus ensure it cant breed ever again

Then I would say thats a good days work by all the authorities concerned, especially so if they are also able to lay their hands on a potentially responsible owner
